Position Summary:
The CSR will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to insurance producers, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. In addition to assisting the insurance team, the CSR will also serve as a representative for the bank by performing basic banking transactions and providing financial services to customers. CSR will assist customers with inquiries and problem resolutions in accordance with Iowa State Bank’s policies, standards and regulations. Every transaction should be viewed as an opportunity for new business development by making the customer aware of any product or service that may be of benefit to them.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities are intended to describe those functions that are essential to the performance of this position.
Insurance Support:
- Assist insurance producers with day-to-day tasks, including policy documentation, client communications, and processing claims.
- Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding insurance products, policy updates, and billing inquiries.
- Review current insurance policies and identify products or solutions for clients.
- Prepare and submit required paperwork for policy changes, renewals, and new policy applications.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex inquiries to insurance producers or management as needed.
- Support the sales process by providing customers with product information and scheduling appointments.
Bank Support:
- Provide Customer Service during peak times or staff shortages, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to bank security policies and procedures.
- Assist customers with account-related inquiries, including providing information on bank products and services.
Other Duties
- Will have extensive contact with the public and conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall professional image and marketing efforts of the agency and bank.
- Be able to obtain personal lines insurance license and complete CEU credit hours annually.
- Accepts other responsibilities as assigned to help embrace ISB’s values.
- Participate in outside civic activities that enhance the agency, bank and personal growth.
We are looking for someone who is efficient and organized with a positive team-work attitude. Computer experience, bank accounting techniques and procedures are preferred.
